Christ - I would rather smoke, enjoy myself and die a few years earlier than spend my time getting angry because someone is smoking fake pipes on a car show.

You must be livid with your local sweet shop for selling those white candy cigarettes .... sick.

I understand that smoking is damaging and I welcome the ban as a smoker because I do want to quit eventually - but if I was going to ban anything in public places - it would be alcohol ... the most damaging drug we have ... at the very least alcohol advertising should be banned the same as tobacco was.

To be honest, when i was watching them i was getting quite infuriated, they were quite blatanatly flouting the laws, why is it ok for tv presenters to act in this manner

For the love of GOD, have people nothing better to do?

I don't like smoking but it was funny! Some people are so caught up in the panderings of the PC nanny state that they will kick off over even the tiniest of things in the hope of getting their name in the tabloids.

I'm planning to sue the anti smoking group for defamation of character as they are using my name for something I don't want to be asssociated with.

They wernt, they were smoken herbal tobacco so people will think they are 'bad boys' and play on clarksons arrogant image.. People talk about 'i pay there liscence fee's' well the BBC prob paid out a few £k's to lawyers to check that there scripted smoking on tele was in fact within the law.
