A mate once got pulled why he was out road testing a car, after doing some work on it.
Copper "is this your car, sir?"
Mate "nope"
Copper looks confused, then notices, the Mitsubishi overalls tied around his waist "Ok, I'll let you get on then"

your not a badger for what you did, your a badger for labelling the police badgers for what they did
yet youd be the first to call them if you needed them

Tis funny when you turn the tables and follow them everywhere, a mate of mine did that, after about 20 mins they pulled him over and threated to charge him with all sorts.
I despise the police here, they get of with what ever they like, and they have bastard "special constables", dont know who to trust.

I just remembered I did that before, except only for about 2 miles or so, they started proper slowing down to 20mph in a 40 so I turned off after they'd gone past the exit

Police dont do fuck all when you need them anyways, too busy sitting in their fucking car eating fish & chips, then getting people for speeding, or having a loud exhaust.
Wankers.

where do you all get the idea that you aren't breaking any real laws when driving like a pratt? the police do you because they see you doing it. they arrest burglars when they see them doing that (nath, don't start) . the same laws that protect you when they can't prove you're speeding protect the rapist when they can't prove he did it. get over it.

and i totally agree with that. the thread was started as i was wondering if any proceedings cud potentially follow due my worrying about my record. I was not condoning bad driving at any point. it was literally a one off thing where i happened to not be thinking about how fast i was going. a momentary lapse of consentration and judgment. and plus i was not even saying anything genuinly derogatory about the police. i was a bit shook up so i came n made this post to discuss my experience. the problem on forums is that as your not saying it in person, it can be interpeted how its read by the other user/s. so wires are going to get crossed, And honestly, telling me to get over it is ridiculous. as this is,after all, a forum. to discuss things. thats what i was doing. if 'get over it' was a justified comment you could say it on every thread on the boards. no matter what the topic.
