I am 20, live at home with parents, pay a little bit of house keeping. I earn enough to be able to move out but it would leave me nothing for a social life. At this moment I do not want to sacrifice my social life for a house. Just gonna keep saving for a while and aim to move out in 2-3 years. Parents are really cool anyway so it doesnt prevent me from doing all the things I want to do.

27 and still at home.
I could have afforded quite a nice place in 2003 but I bought the Impreza. Since then house prices rocketed and I lost my job. Now I earn considerably less money which means I'd struggle to even rent.

25 still at home, can get a mortgage but couldn't afford all the other costs involved in having my own place.
Could rent but dont fancy wasting £££ a month when I can live at home for £30 a week
