I do a 40mm spring kit that retains close to standard ride quality, they are powder coated black and look identical to standard springs. designed to work with standard dampers

Aye, that is what I'm thinking.

Kind of a blessing in disguise as I can't really afford it just have to wait until I win the lottery.

Say the car was like that when you bought it and you were oblivous to it

Play dumb

The smaller the wheels the lower you have to go is it not? 60mm on 15's is fine, where as stick on 17's and the tyre will really be in the arch? May be wrong though

I had 40mm gmax springs lowered on 15s ET38 on 195-50-15 tyres.

Never rubbed once!

It will look 4cm lower than it does now, which won't be much. If they are black and have no branding on them then how are you to know that they are lowering springs? I really don't think there would be an issue if you fitted them. You worry too much.

It is a shame, because I would have probably taken you up on the offer lol.

But I have fears that my headgasket is gone, so lowering is on the back foot at the moment
