I had a letter (no not an e-mail) from a spanish firm the other day.....

Fully franked in malaga, and apparently my name is on the back of a winning lottery ticket they have

They tell me ive won 9million euros

I need to send them my bank details etc to claim

Con merchants can afford stamps now then

His ink jet letter head and official stamp were mightily impressive

Strange that I was in marbella the week before too, perhaps i just forgot about buying a lottery ticket?

No, its not done through lottery tickets. They take details on ALL european tourists entering the country and offer this prize via a draw.

Adverts were all over Murcia airport this year, meant to encourage tourists or something.

no. It was all over the airport this year, leaflets, posters, girls in little shorts telling people by the passport place.
