There is a company that makes replica Steiny skirts, with a Steinmetz stamp on too so I don't see it being a problem.

With regards to the copyright, it would only be a problem if the company decides they don't want you making inferior copys of thier high quality parts damaging thier image, or they just don't want you making money off of thier designs. They are perfectly within thier rights to take legal action over you making naything which looks the same or remotely similar if they wish to do so.

L O L. End of story.

I would fucking love to see you make a mould suitable for injection moulding and then be able to prduce bumpers that would retail for less than what Irmscher sell them for. In fact, I would love to see if your cost price would be less that Irmschers retail price.

For injection moulding you need to use a steel mould. They have to be precision enigneered. $$$

Isn't fiberglass also prone to splitting, cracking and what not?! Hence why people rate Reiger stuff because it's plastic?!

its always possible yeh, but this is what the whole dabate is about, if is plastic it will probably crack, ie cant be repaired, if its fiberglass chances are it will do roughly the same thing which can be repaired. but then again the plastic will be tougher so less likely to crack

tbh its 6 of one and half a dozen of the other

Nope. Fibreglass is a perfectly acceptable material to make a bumper from. Guess what bumpers are made of on a lot of Ferraris, guess what the boot lid is made of on an Audi A4.

But like most things, you get what you pay for. A cheap bumper is going to hae leen laid up by some muppet in his shed using some mould he made out of filler from Halfords.
