VX220 NA is about as quick in a straight line as an XE corsa
220 would kill it off the line and handling though obviously...
But if you meet one whilst moving..
A VX220T vs an astra VXR down the straights (FWD and 1400KG + 2 people vs RWD, light and 1 person).

If they never made the Turbo I'd say Elise

My choices in order would be:
VX220 turbo
S2K
Elise
VX220 NA
I was going to buy a s2k import. Test drove it and was very impressed but i couldnt live without low down torque.
Had to hold it at about 7000rpm in 3rd when getting ready to overtake.
Now a supercharged s2k would be awsome

220 if your after a more "involved" drive and can get over the niggles e.g. getting in and out.
Might be odd but what about a Z4? Its got the looks.

I like Z4s but there still a bit higher, only really gonna have around the same amout as the sell of the S2K, so 10K ish.

Daimo all this video illustrates is how drivers abilities vary on track days.
For a start an XE is not just as quick as a N/A VX220 in a stright line as they run low 14's out of the box, the only thing the Corsa has on it is being able to carry more speed.
I used to think this as I over took a Elise at silly speed when I was younger and to be honest I was pretty Naieve.
At the pod and out on track a N/A would spank an XE'd corsa unless driven by BirchyBoy and an S200 to boot!
People who dismiss the N/A over the Tubby need a reality check as you fail to realise the N/A is a very quick and capable car and the Turbo is out of this world not even comparable with a S200 in fact.
Also peole fail to realise the real allure of this kind of car is the driving experience, the raw feel, the connecttivity so anyone who says that they would not consider the N/A over the turbo is talking bull shit as its a fairly capable car and at the end of the day what kind of real perfomance cars have you actually driven to make this judgement?

Never been in the S2k but it looks more practical for everyday use as has been said already but if it was a choice between that and vx220 turbo I dont think I would need much time to think about it!
