I've driven a phase 1 172 and i really couldn't get used to the driving posotion. I did only drive it for about 5 minutes but it was enough to put me off.

But however much it put me off, i still really really want one I'd love a phase 2 172 cup.

im 6'2" and dont have a problem wit hthe seatin position. just need to adjust the seat and steering height.

It's not the height...the steering wheel sort of tilts away from the driver and you feel hunched over it

Add that to the high biting point of the clutch and it's just weird.

I STILL want a 182 in black though VERY weird.

Seen the 197 for under 12k with delivery miles on at carcraft.

I'm just worried how much they cost to fuel

Mind you i don't fancy doing 80 on the motorway and sitting at 4.5K revs my old scoobys did that! EVO slated there's this month for doing that.Not good for a car in todays standards IMO.

I wasnt a big fan of the driving position on the 182's - they have properly sorted it on the 197 though.
