I know it isn't all about the drinking BUT I've been out before, been the designated driver, and it has been shite. Let alone threshers nights, when it's customary to have a drink, yet you can't.

My liver does feel better for it though

going out and not drinking is pointless altogether IMO

The drink helps you put up with the other pissed loons bumping into you, and the people you havent seen for ages hugging you and jumping round you, not to mention the smell
