Why is everyone quoting their screen size? Surely it matters more what resolution you're running?

to big in my opinion, i dont like websites with massive buttons and massive pics/titles it just seems to much, depends on who your aiming it at though.
If your trying to sell yourself or your designs, do it in different way, and don't use "thinking outside the box" as you technically aren't because theres 1000's of people who have already used that saying

Well there isnt much of a completed design to comment on really is there?
Take a look at this site, http://www.cssremix.com/ plenty of inspiration, and you will see the difference in making a page with a picture and actually designing a site.
We don't learn to better ourselves if we are mislead into thinking we are doing something right, when we aren't. I would have posted more constructive suggestions but who am I to engage in influencing the direction of someones work in progress when I don't know the requirements behind ones project?
