Was just about to say the same thing. Even a MINT one will still cause you a lot of problems, but it would be worth it
Summary: Forget about an RST for £2k unless you intend to spend a shit lot more fixing it For £2k I would go for a MkII GTi or save a wee bit longer and get a good 106GTi.

Its nothing special apart from the wheels.. Its ruined tbh with those m3 badges and also the spoiler is bodged on but you can only tell when you open the boot. Metal has been cut, so i'm quite put off this

Would need a new boot, holes have been cut in order to screw through the top layer of metal one side is a tidy cut. the other is just a mess. Also some bubbling around the 2 rear back arches, i could get a much better car for the price i reckon. Might get the later spec one wich is a 1.9, the insurance is £50 cheaper
