it might be the petrol burning inside the engine

Check for oil on the exhaust manifold.. thats a nasty smell. experienced the smell from shauns car after an oil change yesterday.

Its oil on the down pipe or the exhaust just phoned the lad cos its a proper strong smell. Its because the engine was lob sided and the oil dripped. Ahh well. Least I got it back I gave it some on the by pass last night I LOVE IT. Thought i was not going to stop though I really need new brakes

Only because I am not going to be driving it fast at the mo. My new brakes will go on when the turbo goes on possibly next month
