Easier id imagine its alot harder with masses of money and pressure from the public and the media is easier to get back to the heroin and escape everything for a few hours.
Her songs are not the usual over produced crap she is actually a decent artist in her own right (Granted not my cup of tea).

i didnt say it was easy for any situation tbh, im aware kicking a drug habit is a tough ordeal i just believe its easier with money.

She is quality, I used to think she was awful. But seeing her perform at the Arctic Monkeys gig showed me how good she was, I got her album and I think its great.
She did look absolutly wasted on stage though

I have empathy for people who have an addiction etc but life is about choices. Fair play druggies on the streets don't have a lot of them but Amy is blatantly minted with lots of opportunities to sort her life out. She also has the support of her family. This makes me think she's an idiot who either doesn't feel ready to sort herself out (fair enough but I don't want to read about her shit every day), or she's just dumb.
Either way I don't care I think her music is a big bag of shite.

the thing i fear is when doherty does die, everyone will idolise him, saying "such a waste of talent" e.g. cobain, hendrix, marley etc etc, except they had talent where as doherty is a total shitbag grubby hobo.

That's a personal opinion though, stop 10 people on the street and 9 out of 10 won't have heard them stop someone on the street and ask them to name 4 Beatles songs or U2 songs and 9 out of 10 will. He doesn't have a song that transcends generations and imo is nothing more than a drug addict.

I do think they get way too much media attention there is so much more important stuff going on in the world although i sympathise she is going through a rough time she needs to get help for herself not because people are telling her to, we know they have problems why do we need to keep hearing about it.

so your saying because i or 'random' person cant name a song from an artist there not talented
i couldnt name a rolling stones/eric clapton/ozzy osbourne song and they are all major talented artists in there own right!
pete doherty set the style for the whole 'new' indie seen, for the likes or artic monkeys, the view etc etc, so i would say hes been a good talented MUSIC influence in recent years
