Aldi is bloody awesome for my diet!

Chicken breats, steaks, cured meats all mega cheap compared to the supermarket.

ALDI FTW

Aldi is keeping me alive over here

Though I have now found a place called Edeka, it's the f-ing nuts. Have you ever been in a supermarket with ornamental fountains etc etc in it?

Oh, and as my other half says...

"Lidl - When you're too pikey to shop at Netto"

the thing I find the funniest.... is that I work at whats considered a Jippo Store... but shop at Tesco/Sainsbury's yet its funnily enough I see plenty of people from Tesco/Sainsburys shopping in LIDL

Yea the pay is ok... better than Tesco/Sainsburys etc etc I started on £6 which wasn't bad considering Tesco you get like £4.85 starting wage!

It says the Pay is "Up to an Hourly rate of £7.80"

She does work alot of hours to be fair . Though thats mainly because the manager of the store she works at is shit, not because of a big lack of staff.

Lidl Peach Shnappes or however you spell it is bang on.

Do Aldi still not have barcode scanners and type prices into the till like theres no tomorrow? I used to live up road from one in Accrington a few years back and remember them never having barcode scanners, thought it was amazing how fast they put the prices in.

One thing i've learnt is that if you want something then go for it. Don't follow your mates.

yea the store managers do a minimum of 10hours a day normally!!!

either 6-4 or 11-9! fooking crazy!

on our inventory (counting all of the stock) the managers have to start at 6 in the morning and don't finish until 10/11 at night! very illegal but oh well
