far from it mate, sold the blue corsa for many reasons least to buy a new car ! i wanted to let or z.let the corsa but storage and time is really against me. im goin from a fun sporty hatch to a 1.8 vectra dog edition but its safe for me and the nipper and im goin to buy a tow-bar and fix up a trailor i have at work, thus meaning i can branch out with work, something i could never of done with the corsa. all this hard work i do i feel i deserve something special for the wk end...looks like i will be ordering a 888 corsa D

240bhp?????

Doesn't the 888 only have 200? Or am i missing something?

They are nice, just £16k on a new corsa is hard to swallow for me. Not fancy a 2nd hand Astra VXR or something?

Prefer that to the VXR. Red painted trim looks gash. Be smart with the 888 wheels on it

Think he may be pulling your chain there. Just can't see how they would put 40bhp more in a smaller car.

Probably 240bhp engine after a succession of modifications.

Which it will have, considering the 1.9 isn't available in the D in the first place.

The Astra 888 had 200bhp, but some owners have got more (ka$h on here for example). 888/Thurlby have obviously decided to go all out with the Corsa.

I know people running even more, but with a larger turbocharger (still only around 260).

Would be cool if it has got 240bhp, but i just can't see it. Especially if its still under warrenty. Standard turbo is starting to be pushed at this rate and it won't last as long mileage wise as a 150/200bhp unit.

We'll see though if Stavs buys it won't we
