Sorry to sound daft but Dj's wife sells Dj's Lotus for 50p - i get that bit.

So then he used the 50p he made from the Lotus to buy the BMW, yes/no

It's not hard to work out, like I said, all the press coverage about it meant he could blag the car, the engine conversion and all the other parts. Watch 5th Gear as the whole story is on it this week.

TBH the whole Esprit selling thing was a big publicity stunt IMO, as is most of the "pranks" he pulls on air.

Think of it as how they do the "stunts" on top gear (if you belive some of those are real, you must be very gullable), but it's on the Radio instead

.

Still funny to listen too at times though
