Merc? In which case they break down more than my corsa and have the customer support of a wet squid. I don't think anyone in my family will ever own a Merc.

See why its such a hard choice. Its almost like the cars he's selected so far are the better ones..

Wouldn't get a 3.2 S Boxter, 2.7 is meant to bethe better drive and more balanced, and it also adds quite a bit to the price too.

Almost like the boxster is the best one here so far

I will second the reliability and the merc problems, i have to deal with them day to day for work
you get good ones and bad ones of every car though
I personally wouldnt get the boxster as people always (jealously) go "couldnt afford a real porsche then"
but again, doesnt make them bad cars or anything. Its just that stigma.
Audis do get away from that

S2000 is a wiked motor

Skyline Gt-r 34 for around £24-£25k, I would !
R33 gtr for around £13k.
Nice Supra maybe.

There is a NEW 350z out with a higer grade 85% different engine which now has a bonnet hump.Looks sweet and is now 313bhp was around 270 I believe.

DONT get the boxter its just a poormans 911 and thats how people will think of your father.

I can 3rd that too. My mate has none stop problems with his.

No if he locks the car for more than 1 min, the key will not respond. So he has to break in. It take him 25 seconds. I timed him

Have you actually read anything in this post so far Even the actual 1st post by me?????

Poormans 911? I f-ing HATE that expression. Poor mans 911, yeah, but rich compared to ever mofo that drives a vectra or mondeo??? Said by jealous haters.

And also those that think "poor mans 911" will be suprised when he's passing one of the top spec porsches at 190mph, with about £90,000 in his pocket still........
