It doesn't 'make you' anything if you've tried drugs. Fair enough if they infinge on your every day life and you life is suffering in a major way because of them it's a problem, but people who haven't taken anything and preach that 'it'll all lead to being a smackhead'  fuck off, I know alot of people including myself who do it recreationally and know when it's appropriate and when it's not.

many a time i see people sitting in shop entrances at night (druggies) having to sleep rough because they have lost everything... if that's not a sad life then i don't know what is?
i have about 1 pint a month, sometimes go a couple months without one as it just doesn't appeal to me. i'd rather be sober and drive. driving is my drug, but it's legal

I don't know everything. Your jsut making out that all peopel have taken drugs is bad. I say, get out the sheltered life and live a little. You only have the chance once.
How many drunk bums do you see on the streets? Compare the numbers of drunks Vs druggies on the streets, u'll find a LOT more drunks.
I think every town has its own drunk bum...... Do you know of any towns with a druggie bum?

I'm with Daimo on this. I think everyone should experiment at least once, if you don't like it then fair enough. Don't make such a big deal out of it all going on what you've 'heard from mates' or whatever.

Do you know anyone who has replied well enoguh to say whether they know about what they are doing, the effects it can have, long term and short?
Just because you dont want to or have no interest, doesn't mean that you know about it. I do, i've reaserched every drug i've taken before i've taken it so that im fully in the know as to what can do and how it can effect you.
Again, am I still dumb? Wasting my life? Arn't you into cars? Im into cars, am i still wasting my life? I've got 3 cars and 2 bikes? Still wasting my life?
Nothing wrong with the way you live your life, and how you live it, or what you've said, but you can't come out with a comment like previous and not expect a reply from those that clearly know what you've put is a complete lie and rubbish.

I enjoy speed (mph type), but doesn't mean im going to drive at 150mph every time i get on a bike/in a car does it???? 99% of the time, im pottering along. I LOVE driving, taking the correct lines, braking points etc. Doesn't mean it overcomes my life, or do it all the time.
Theres a time, and a place. Its called modertation. Self control. Willpower, knowing yourself and what your limits are.
I.E, when i get REALLY drunk, i go off into what my mates call "Daimoland" where i go off by myself and get up to gawd knows what. Haven't got a clue about it either.
Solution? Self control, don't let myself get that drunk, and if im going that way, then its time to end the night.

but at least you have something to show with your cars/bikes.
whereas drugs show nothing? you can have a good time without drinking/smoking/doing drugs.
it's your life yes, but the minute you take too many of something and overdose, it becomes a lot of other peoples problem and that's the reason i don't like people who do drugs who don't care on the effect they are having on other people.
there's a difference between taking something in moderation and taking something in excess

Your right though. I've been told im an odd ball as i've got my head on as to "when too much is enough" but maybe thats online? I've got a fair few friends who control how much and when, all with over £30k jobs i might add.
Keep it under control and in moderation, its fine. Take the p1ss, and u'll suffer.
Like driving.
Drive around at 100mph everywhere and every time your in a car, u will get caught at some point.
Take drugs all day every day, and your body will get caught and suffer at some point.
BUT
Drive aroudn normally, and when its safe, do a little speeding, you run the risk of being caught, but chance are, u'll be fine.
Same with drugs...
