he cost me £120 and he is a baby (i think) bigger ones get more expencive. There is an indian star one in a pet shop near me for £400

Thats well expencive becs... and i bet you any money that they are no UK CB! (uk captive bread) they are imports from slovenia! alot of people want to stop these imports

Thats what the pet shop told me when they sold me the tortoise! i then got a certificate for him and what a surprize it said it was slovenia

they dont eat luttuce matt.. no tortoise or turtle should! its bad for them turtles live in water but like to have a ledge to sit and bask in the light. tortoises live on dry land and have a little bath in their home

You shouldnt really keep them in fish tanks they tend to walk into the glass.
You need a heat lamp.
Do tortoises need UV-b lights paul?
