For £9k I think you could get a decent one, they have dropped alot lately.
Any ideas what you do want?

I'd go for an S3.
They're comfortable, quick, and look a lot more sophisticated than the usual hot hatches.
I wouldn't be too concerned about mileage too. They're decent engines.

S3's are tempting a nice grey or red one, but they area bit i dunno boring
S8 i would love but i dread to think about the costs of running one
Not seen any S2000's for £9k?
Fancy an Mroadster but concerned again with age...
Focus RS is INCREDIBLY tempting for £10k tho. Hold value well i reckon too
No idea!!

Get an RS ya plumb
You wont lose much money on one, prices are pretty firm!!
When I can afford a new car, (WHEN - erm, 18 months time ) Im thinking FRS, Evo, S1 Exige, Audi something S/RS.
You have a shitter for work im lead to believe?? Well age/running costs shouldnt be too important!!
