Its a great industry, you can almost command your wage! Nah I work in procurement, manage the material side of thngs rather than the subcontract stuff! Miles easier!
Oh yeah, where you off to? Been offered a job myself in Dubai, my mate has gone for it and loves it! Tax free too!!! Thought about it but Im doing ok for myself here and then theres the hassle of renting my house out and stuff. Plus Ive also met a chick that Im well into so Im gonna stay put for a while!

I must have just worked for a shite company then
I done surveying, estimating, buying, contract management the lot, jacked it in as I was so fed up with it
Just the north sea for now but might look around after a few years, couple guys I know just landed 5yr contracts in western australia on great terms
I was pals with a cala homes surveyor that went to dubai, said he was earning 80k a year tax free the bastard
