I owned a g reg one for about 3 months.was sat on the drive for 6 months before i passed my test and i just charged the battery and it started just like it had been used that day.and it had over 100k miles on it.Was a very reliable car that i had alot of faith in,also got me to wales and back no problem. they are quite suprisingly nippy too.

The only problem i had was driving down all the hills in wales and using the brakes at the same time caused seriouse brake fade/nasty smell.even when i had my foot planted on the brake pedal it still didnt stop and just kind of rolled to a holt.

i really missed it when i sold it though for some reason.might just be because it was my first.

I would reccomend one to anyone as a cheap reliable runaround.and like you said you wont be tempted to modify it as its just a micra
