Any idea why?

Thought it was a bit funny when JR told me about it, especially as the latest i've ever seen is probably a 'Y' and i've seen MKIIs from 'A'.

Oh and btw, F*CK ME!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU ACTUALLY SETTLED ON A CAR AND BOUGHT IT!!!

How long before you get bored/fed up and sell it?

I've got no idea why TBH Jim, my only explaination would be that it was sat in a dealer's yard and forgotten about, although I believe it was imported from Germany, so maybe someone went to Germany to order it as it would have been cheaper, then cancelled and VW didn't sell it as it was RHD, then someone found it and brought it over, then registered it in '87

There's a few A reg Mk1s about, but not many, all the Campaigns were A plated.

Won't be getting bored of it any time soon, it's a cracking little car

EVERYONE looks at it, it's ace.
