Bex have you seen any work by Kat Von Dee? She done a few episodes on Miami Ink and is absolutely stunning - she specailises in black and white (and grey obviously) tattoo's and they are stunning!
If you've not seen Miami Ink I can suggest trying to get hold of it on dvd or something - fantastic program!

^^ she is amazing!
Black/white portraits are her speciality and is fantastic at them. She is on Miami Ink full time now, atleast in the new series, and Ami made her do some coloured tattoos
I'd love Garver to do my new one, would def get something Jap then, as his work is the best Ive seen TBH.

She's not - she had a bust up with them and they "parted company", she is now setting up her own tattoo parlour and best of luck to her - it's all on her myspace page
Garvers stuff is awesome, looking at him you wouldn't expect it but he's so talented! him and Kat are/were the most talented two there easily!

Read my sentence after the one in bold then  Didnt realise that but 
Garver tought Ami all he knows, so he isnt too bad himself, but for the Oriental work I dont think many can match Garver for the details.

and yes tattoo's do hurt lol, i dont know how people say they dont, some one stabs a needle into your arm a few thousand times its bound to hurt.

yeah i quite like it not sure how to get it though, considerin just gettin him cut out of the background so there only the sun behind him, or getting the full square tattoed on me hmmmmmmmmmm.

dont get it done square, but get the background similar to that done but fading out to the edges.

my mate had an anime woman with her wabs out on his shoulder, acouple of weeks later he fell off a treadmill and ended up with 3/4 cuts in his shoulder right through the tattoo ftl
