22B if you're going to treat it well. ie no butchering, fmic's, fancy engine work etc.
Otherwise get the EVO.
I don't care if people says its just a car. Theres plent of Subaru's out there to mess around with instead of this.

I do agree with some of the other lads in the fact that I too see about 3/4 Scooby's a day... although they do have that "lush" scooby growl
Have you test driven any?

Someone with sense!
People rant about how "common" imprezas are. Has nobody stopped to think it's because you 'notce' them (because theyr'e fuckin ace). How many mondeos, Astras, Corsas, TT's, BMW 3 series, etc, etc. do you see all the time, but you don't notice them as much because they're nothing to look at.

Yep Im a scooby man through and through also, can appreciate the evo is a damn good machine, but a lot of the time the Jap Evo gets compared to the UK variant impreza etc.. which is why theres a lot of comments where people say the Evo is far superior when on paper and the real world theres nothing in it.
Compare an STi Type R V6 with an Evo 6 TME and theres nothing in it,
I love Evos but compared to a decent impreza eg. 22B, STi Type R, spec C etc. I would pick the impreza for the character and that flat four soundtrack, but thats just me plenty of people would choose the other way around, end of the day theyre both awesome cars and you wont be dissapointed whatever you pick.

what nismo said.
and i bet you wont keep it very long if you went for it anyway, doesnt offer anything in terms of driving experience over your sti type R. just the rarity and cult status and 20k tied up in a car imho.
