Go the local pub. Go round to one of my mates. Mess about with my fish tanks. Walk my mates dogs. Go the cinema.

Alot of my old mates are the sit on a carpark type and I'm really not into that anymore so I don't see alot of that group anymore.

No worries. When you applied last time did they give you any feedback on which parts of your application you could improve on?

Then work on your strengths.

Work on the academic side then mate. If you want it bad enough then you will get there. I spent hours practicing for my Police assessment day and hours in the gym getting fit, In the end it paid off

I have a history of depression in my family so I am quite good at dealing with it. I'm also slightly bipolar.

At the end of the day I believe in fate and that everything happens for a reason and there must be better things out there for you.

Not proud just honest.

There were obviously reasons why the relationship wasn't working that I really don't want to go into.

I was just pointing out that its one of the oldest lines in the book.

Join the force get a divorce Unfortunately that happens to a lot of couples when their partners join the Police. I reckon you are better off trying to sort out the bits you can influence first mate at least you'll feel like you're making progress then

Yes used by women all the time, a simple 'i don't want to go out with you anymore' works better on all levels imo.

Chin up, it might not be the end of your relationship. If your g/f felt things weren't right then a break might be whats needed to help you both see how you really feel about each other

Hope things work out for you
