You can't smoke within 4m of an entrance to a public building, unless you're walking past.
So, if you're in the pub, legally, you have to go outside, BUT, you can't stand by the door, you have to go 4m away.
You also can't smoke in a work's van, even if everyone else in the van smokes

I can understand y the smoking ban has been put in place - but still people will go around doing it (where they shouldn't) its like taking drugs I bet you know of at least 1 person who smokes weed or does pills?

its a good thing imo, i prefer to leave a club/pub not smelling like an ashtray...second hand smoke is dirt, its like people might aswell caugh in your face...mingin

the only people who i have ever heard complain are my none smoker mates in the pub. who continue to neck 10 pints of stella before a round of sambucas and then town.

was out last night in chicagos, they completely refurbished it before the smoking ban and opened it a few days ago but with the full no smoking laws in place.
it really smelt of BO in there and everyone crammed into the outside patio area so you wont be able to get a seat out there on a nice evening now and even if you did there would be 3x as many people as there used to be around you just chuffing away
with all these people outside it didnt take as long to get a drink though
