When the Astra VXR was mapped from standard it was mapped using V-Power so if you use lower grade fuel it won't pull as hard, which I found out.
V-power works wonders in the VXR.

MY Astra GSi Turbo doesnt like council fuel aka normal RON esp not supermarket fuel.
Only ever use V Power now.

I notice the difference in the cupra, always run on vpower in the 106.

My cars mapped for Shell, certainly feels better than BP etc but thats because it's been mapped to it  most tests show Shell to offer better BHP levels than other fuel (on same car etc).

cant run on any other petrol. did it once in an emergency as couldnt find a shell garage. it didnt like it much

I only use V-power in mine - i do think it runs smoother and gives it a good clean so why not, And people moan about the extra price - it costs you about 2quid more if you brim it!
