i just got my 1.4 16v sport engine fitted, same spec as my mates, 8v flywheel, and close ratio gear box, full sportex exhaust kit as my mate chose a diff setup, and thats quick enough, altho a few things need changing so it revs over 3k lol

Thats got a performance inlet of some sort as it pull well from 4500 to 6500.

I ran a 9.55 0-60 on datron timing. Filter and rear can, 15"s on 195/45.

Then I put 16"s, 170kg of ICE.
0-60 = 13.4

0-100 = 27 seconds

In fact, at Bruntingthorpe, it only just made 101mph as well

Smaller engines don't like weight.

That most certainly is slow kerr.. seing though its at 35ish mph at start of video. and the video is 19seconds long

TBH it does look like summat up with it my 1.4 sport runs a lot quicker than that and its only got exhaust system to.
