What Tb's can I put on it, dont they need precisely tuning to actually make a difference?

you need to do what you want, i was in this situation i chose the 2.0 and im glad i did cos i love it, with regard to the handling etc etc that everybody bables on about i love the way my 2.0 feels and handles the fact it torque steers more to me is one of the reasons its more fun to drive i love it

No point in either to be fair ive almost lost my licence in my almost standard 1.6,not worth the hassle unless ya planning track days etc,sorry to have a boring answer but its true!

To be fair there isnt any need to speed everywhere. Just because you have the power doesnt mean you have to have your foot to the floor everywhere you go...

cant help it!!,whats the point in having the power if your not going to use it?!,can only do a maximum of 70 mph in this country,everyone brags of going the speed of light etc but is it really worth ya licence??

with the price that 1.6's are generally going for now and the price of 2litres i would sell the 1.6 and get a 2l corsa with a few hundred in your back pocket to do what you want to the 2l

agreed i got mine for £1100. i would rather have a 2.0 but ive never drove a tuned 1.6.having a bigger engine dosent get you points on your license but thrashing it everywhere does.ive found that in normal driving i dont thrash it nearly as much just because i dont need to.it goes well without putting your foot down
