Tell me WHAT brand new car doesn't loose a shed load of money as soon as you've signed the form? No, please do....

Why would a brand new vauxhall be any different?

You never fail to amuse me topshop.

The only thing i like on the clio over the corsa is the wing vents Otherwise it doesn't really stand out, the corsa vxr was so fit. Stood out really well.

your description of a vxr as 'fit' makes you look like a chump tbh.

Clio is better car. corsa is overpriced and cheap and tacky inside.

Someone who hasnt' looked at either.

Styling, the clio wins. Interior, the Corsa is by far the class leader, clio interior is very cheap and plastic. Corsa insterior is very classy in comparison.

It all depends on whether you can afford to go brand new or not, personally I would wait until a year or so.

Steve - I would suggest that you drive one except I assume you would go there to hate it and come away doing so.

You really do need to get a proper opinion. I agree entirely with Oly here - both him and I have driven the same car on the same day and we were both impressed by it. We also both have enough driving experience and history of driving good cars to know what is good.

£16k is a bit much for what is essentially a small car with some stick on bits but if I had room in my life I would spend it. No more ridiculous that painting my 13 year old B, which I do because I like that car as well.

Really, are you for real?? You seriously think this...... (including the actual materials)

is far classier than....

And i'd still take the clio sport over the vxr.. The interior is what lets the clio down, and what is outstanding in the corsa. The materials are thicker, better quality, much better feel to them.

The Clio hasn't really moved on from the Mk2, they feel cheap, nasty plastic, it bends when pushed, dials and stearing wheel are plain...
