while im over here in texas i like going to these custom fabricators at the moment they have one of those infinitie g35 which is basically a 350z with a different body.

they have turbo charged it and made a custom inlet and it would push around 400bhp and the wheels (not fly wheel)

I had one for a while (below) nice cars, they don't feel that quick because it's a lazy V6 - they aren't designed to be rapid, more of a swift GT car really. Nice to drive though, nice engine note, comfortable etc. Plenty of SC and Turbo kits around to obtain 450+

Sound nice, bit boring to look at, not massively quick.

Get amongst it.

Careful daimo you are in danger of bringing the vxr into the successor (god forbid ) of the [you know what car I mean], i.e. the only car worth comparing anything to.

Im a fan of the nissans just all this v6 taking over the straight 6's

Maybe get a nice Skyline r33 gtr..Get the full 4wd twin turbo one...276bhp
0-60 in around 5.2 secs r34 could be a little harder to find and alot more expensive..Or even a sexy s13 1.8t around 248bhp 7.3 0-60 good for the drifting alot of looking after and oil changes every 3k miles...s14 bit ugly s15 is nice tho...

300zx vs 350z seems a little pointless to make a slower car....
sayin that if i could afford a 350z i would defo have one over a 300zx have to be black or in that dark grey...they look a little girly and soft with the factroy trim tho....

I remember when Top Gear tested the 350Z against the TT 3.2 V6 and Chrysler Crossfire in Iceland or something. They were also the cab versions.

Out of those three cars, I'd actually prefer the 350z.

I know it's slightly different, but I'd rather have an S2000.

Different cars though.

350 will cruise on the motorway all day in relaxed comfort.

The S2000 will be more noisy, higher revs, not as instant pull all the way through the rev range.

As for teh 300 Vs 350, times have changed, as has the law. Emissions are everything, check the C02 emissions on the 300 and the C02 emissions on the 350z....... Now tell me which one you'd want as a company car....

Days of the mental skylines and such are no more, even the Veroyn is a relaxed refined environment. The last true supercars were the F40 and McLaren F1, raw, fruity, just like the older Nissans.

The euro tree hugging hippies won't allow the emissions anymore, hence also why so many bikes have to have such stupidly large exhausts (for the in-built cats and silencing units)..
