I would have said that dress falls into the Cocktail Dress category and would be fine depending on the formality of the evening.
Do you know if the evening is in aid of something specific or is it just a work organised event?

Iv got a dress question too!
Stuart is best man and iv had my fress for ages. Bride has now changed her colours to the same as my dress, maybe a shade or two lighter. Should i wear it or get a new one?

yeah, however she seem mine before she changed her colours.
Plus iv to sit at top table so dont want to look like a bridesmaid. I love my dress too

Nah im trying to find something similar then going to puppy dog eye stuart for a pair of christian louboutin shoes, which i doubt it going to work.

She was having her bridesmaids in a purple colour
This is the same as my dress. .
she has now changed to a shade lighter so id look like a bridesmaid in a different style dress.
