Nice tidy looking golf you have mate. Dark red is different though, much nicer IMO! My current car is kind of red, and I love that colour.

Cheers, I did go have a look at a bright red one but to be honest it wasnt for me. However it was standard though!

I think if you have the view from the start with what your going to do you can make a car in any colour look good. Some of the red ones in your post on e38 are stunning.

I like red cars in general as long as they are looked after

I don't think you should do it Dom. You know there are better colours, and you will never be 100%, I can see you regretting it. The above pics look good, but we both know other colour Golfs look better. Get one you know you will be happy with

Not flame pink..

It's burgundy, dark metallic red. There's more depth to it and it's generally a lot nicer colour IMO.. I'd love a Golf the colour of my Corsa.

can be a bugger to keep clean/red if not looked after.

my old sport was red.....would polish it most weekends...then after i sold it, the burd who bought it didnt polish it much and you could see the fading kicking in
