I didnt feel that safe in my XE'd Nova.
Full cage, buckets and harnesses' were standard issue. Big wheels and stupid ride height didnt help either. A mate has a Nova LET and its brutal.

The corsa shakes like a bitch at 135. Also its at like 6300rpm in 5th, so always a bit scarey.

But the astra at 160 was smooth, quiet, refined, very relaxed, very strange experience, no noise, no shaking, no rattles, just things went past a lot quicker

160 on the clock Daimo, don't let anyone jump on your back that the Astra only does 152mph

My nova scares the sheeite out of me at speed, 7200rpm in fifth and still pulling (just) is a little bit dodgy, especially seeing as its that light that it jumps off bumps on the motorway

dont know what sortof high speeds your talking about but i've had my corsa to 140mph and it felt safe except the wipers were flapping about like god knows what

[Edited on 07-06-2007 by cam1]

140 in a xe? Doubt it, my old LET corsa would just do 140 with the 5 speed! And theres no chance it felt safe, mines didnt feel safe at all and it was rock solid on coilovers and strut braces.
