How much was it up for? If your willing to let it go to a trader for £2k then just put it up for 2500 or a touch more.

Yes but think of the money you could get by holding out for the right buyer, don't let it go for silly money.

Your bound to get timewasters but there will be someone who will genuinly want it. I sold mine to the first person with very little effort, only advertised on here. Get the price right and someone will snap it up. I don't see the point losing money just to save a bit of hassle.

No offence to your motor stavs i love it but you'll be lucky if a trader gives you a grand. They won't take all the money you've spent on it into consideration, they get there stupid book out and insult you. Make up a good ad, put a reasonable asking price and you'll get loads of interest, the interest i got in my 106 was unreal from pistonheads! at one point i was getting nearly 5 emails a day for a week!

yes at this point i really should call the man (or women i hope) and have a veiwing to see how i feel. he is advertising mostly porches and bmw etc and this is probilly the cheapest car on his site.
i have enough to buy most of the car atm, could borrow a bit from the bank and if i sold the blue corsa it would pay back the money.

a bit over priced imo but are good stong engines. quite a bit of poke as im sure you have found out. 2k for yours and £4500 cash seems about right
