lol i was just wondering thats all G-man ive always wanted the Chatter noise like i said my bro had it on his Rs focus and ive loved the noise ever since..

if u want the chatter sound take off the vaccume pipe that go's in to the top of the forge recirc it sounds the bollocks but is soo bad for performace

007p and a driled airbox or cone filter will be plenty loud, once you have it remapped.

Without remap it will sound quiet.

I'd go for the ibiza personally. But shop around, some will sell cheaply and some will ask way over the value.

If i was you i'd buy one with base mods already done ie remap, dv, etc as they do tend to get looked after and these are all things you will really want but do add up!

relocated open cone filter, forge 007p turned around and 18psi sounds the nuts!

what i run on my ibiza. took the vac pipe out the dv like joe said and it does sound the tits but boosts to about 4psi and generaly drives like a heap

strangely the ibiza isnt that much lighter, only about 150kgs or so

why would you take the vac pipe out? theres nothing holding the valve shut then bar the spring !!! no wonder it only boosted to 4psi, it would also mean hat the vavle wouldnt dump and cause turbo stall, which is probably the noise your talking about, a very bad thing to do, im not sure why people like the sound of turbos stalling

I have driven both recently, golf feels better to drive but the Ibiza looks better.

both pretty slow in standard form due to their weight which was dissapointing.

Cant afford a Cupra R as it 2 insurance group higher

Just the ibiza t us 1800 but ive go no ncb...Thats whats killin me..

@ 18 with 0 ncb mine was £1800 on my ibiza. Try admiral, your a bit older than me.

im 20 been driving 2yrs 7months Did have 2 Ncb but had a shunt in 2006 and lost it all...

Tbh 1800 wasnt a bad quote....for me any way as i live in a high crime area...
