cool cheers jules. i lack confidence, so i would be hoping it would go well, or next time id wait about three years before doing it again
Nah just go in relaxed, stay calm, shes agreed (if she says yes ) to go on a date because she obviously likes you..........she wants to spend her time getting to know you - that should be a confidence booster in its own. If it doesnt work out learn from the experience & move on.

Nope, this girl I'm seeing later this week said she'd like to go out for a drink when I asked her, we were trying to decide where to go tonight, I was suggesting places all of which weren't good for one reason or another - said ok - you decide, she said she couldn;t and asked me to decide again! Women = barking mad!
In the end she made a suggestion, I said yes and that is that until Thursday night

I think our first date was when I turned up at yours shit faced and we got through a litre of vodka at about 4 in the morning
Other than that I only remember the pub off the royal mile, but your brother and some work people were there, so I don't think that really classes as a date
the rest of that year is pretty much a blur

deano_sxi has the right idea
but seriously, as colin said, nothing ventured nothing gained. i too am pathetic with women, i took a girl out not too long ago, picked her up, went for afew drinks and had a nice walk down the canal, nothing stressful or pressured etc. dropped her off at home so i knew she got back alright, it was all good
take the chance mate

Wouldn't recommend going for a meal bud, I think eating is quite a stressful thing to do on a first date, worried about spitting food out or making a mess etc
I took the current lady out on a Friday night, went to a few bars, had some good chat, got a bit pissed, conversation flowed even more, went to a club, pulled. Result

cinema or out somewhere busy and loud are bad ideas, cant speak at either and you end up having to think about finding somewhere else for the 2nd date where you'll have to think if you two can speak for that long!

I took a bird out to the cinema on the first date, first thing she did was point out a stain on the passenger seat and asked if it was spunk. Went to the cinema watched Narnia and she sat and spoke about anal sex for the entire film
