Yeah there is benifits of being mid 20's (I wouldnt say ancient ) with full NCB & crystal clear driving history. I can insure pretty much anything for little money now....just cant afford a decent motor

seems most people tire of the Car scene when they hit their mid twenty's though and buy oil burners
Opposite to me, Can afford decent motors but get laughed at by insurance companies on decent cars I want an ITR DC2 (DC5 funds permitting) in 2 years when my NCB builds up and my conviction disapears

Im more interested in saving up to buy a bigger house right now, you soon learn that cars are a waste of time & money.
Wouldnt say no to an RS4 or a nice 911 however, but no more modded or jap crap for me!! I'll got the oil burner until im wedged enough to buy either of the above

Most ive ever paid for Insurance was £1700 for an MR2 when I was 19.....feel a bit silly thinking about it now like
You dont care at that age though, you generally dont have anything else to splash your wedge on than cars & getting wasted

I've already learnt that Cars (especially modified ones) are a waste of money But i Enjoy it so i would rather indulge in a hobbie than have a nice bank balance , I spent just over £1000 last month alone on my car and it doesnt run yet Will probably make a loss if i ever sell it but It'll have been worth it
Will be concentrating on Making myself a career this year not looking to jump into the property market till i am sound financially in a couple of years and have a good income as it is a pretty big commitment

You can still have an interest in cars without spending £k's. Ive learned more on the old Mk2 golf im currently doing up than on any of the other cars ive ever owned. Possibly because im not scared to get stuck into it getting an enjoyment out if rebuilding it, especially the engine!! & the bonus is its only cost £800 so far.
