Considering S1's but they are very rare in good condition and usually are very expensive, there is one for sale for £8500! Not sure to get an escort or fiesta or ibiza.

Well i don't know, i get bored so easily it'd be nice to have 2 cars, so where as the Ibiza / Golf would be everything i could get an RST for a bit of fun and keep my Escort as an everyday work horse. I'm just playing with ideas.

plus i'd love a mint RS anyway, the only thing that was putting me off them is they aren't very reliable but i'd have a 2nd car so all would be good.

I bought a 100k mile plus escort and i've given it hell for 2 months and nothing has gone wrong with it. I think if you buy one that has been loved your fine. Plus it won't be an everyday car, i think i'll keep my trusty xr3i.

If I was buying an Escort, I'd buy the silver one with the decent shell over some shitty genuine one.

There's a thread on passionford about it, it's very tidy, even if it is a Bonus.
