uninsured drivers really do make me angry, its a neccesary evil and you've just got to live with it. its like them putting two fingers up to the system and all of the rest of britian, really does make me cross.

Silly question but how the hell did he hit you and that much damage if you were pulling off a roundabout, the a Class has no damage at the front unless he drifted fully side on into you

Gutted for you mate , hope they do fix it but i fear they might not, my B got wrote off 2 weeks ago for less damage (a wing, bonnet, bumper, slam pannel and a headlight). But that was only a 1.4 8v LS.

i'll draw a diagram later on google maps to show everyone. but basically he was doing 50/60 atleast and think he slid into me but unsure what side of the car etc. few witnesses have told us that they were really going for it on the wrong side of the road and just lost control. pissing this is it's a 30 down there

well the the damage to your car was still your fault, by the sounds, you pulled out on his right of way, regardlesso f how he was driving and his state of insurance

If the A class is being driven without due care and attention then i dont see how it can be his fault..... and surely the amount of damage shows he was speeding?
I cant belive the scarpered. What a holes!
your poor poor car!

regardless he has to give way..
im just saying had it been an accident involving a legally insured driver, he would probbaly be claimed against

I think you are wrong if you could prove the other car was speeding then it has no leg to stand on as it was illegal!
I know of someone who backed out of a parking space into the side of a parked car. However the parked car was on double yellows at the time and as such insurance company did not want to know. They both ended up sorting their own damage out!

you have to prove they were speeding, just saying it looked like they were going to fast isnt enough.
however its proof based on the road layout that youpulled out into there path

In this instance he doesn't have to prove anything!

no because the car is illegally on the road anyway, but my point was if this car was a perfectly legal with all docs etc, then he'd probably have a claim against him

i think someone having to be cut out of a car means they were speeding steve.
also carrying on from one car to another like a bowling ball also points out the speed may have been quick as f**k.
unles they were doing 30 and somehow smashed a loada cars up and their brakes were make of sponge cake.....
