£30 wont get you anything near the standard of lens a pair of Oakleys or similar will give!

True, meant more they are actually lenses rather than black plastic (for eg) that you get for a pair for a fiver.

Yeah, Id agree there are probably 3 level with cheap, not bad, excellent but you'll only get those really good lenses on glasses over £100 these days.

that remiinds me, when you go to the beach with your other half, how many of you have gave it "can you see my eyes?" and when they have answered no, thought "happy days!" Think i'll have to purchase a second pair that are dark/mirrored for this occasion.

It rains too much up here to justify expensive sunglasses!
But I do need a new reasonably cheap pair for driving.
I usually just get some cheap high street brand ones.

What about people who want decent lenses like on Oakleys and not just a bit of tinted plastic

I want new sunglasses...but I have a really small face so find it hard to find any that dont take up half my face

My 14 year old cousin took my sister sunglass shopping and got her a nice pair, so I might adopt her to help me out

I've had to use my sunglasses weekly driving to and from work, daily over the past while.

I certainly don't look cool in them either.

Winter sun is the worst because it is so low down.

I use mine all year round. Sunny winter Morning when it's clear. Low Sun, Summer.

I need then every week or so probably when sunglasses are "out of season"

Same as that. I have really sensitive eyes, and skwint really easily. When it is overcast, with grey skies, but it's bright, I wear my sunglasses

I bought some Oakley Eye Patches the other day. They weren't that expensive and look kinda funky.

Got no idea what mine are, but I paid about £35 in Boots - polarised lenses and absolutely amazing in the car - cuts out all the glare.

Strangly they are also useful on the motorway with all the spray after it has rained - much easier to see.....

I've got a pair of oakleys, but they're ancient and only used for skiing.
All my other ones have just been cheap tat

Could do with a pair for driving the skyline though as it can be a bit of a bugger with no sun visors

I bought a cheap-ass pair of aviators from Next today for £12 to go on holiday with. If they last me the month I'll be happy tbh, I've got a good pair I'd rather not break/loose that I wear for driving

www.glassesdirect.co.uk

Now get my perscription glasses from there - £15 compared to the £120 Asda were going to charge. Got 2 pairs for £34 as we found a £6 voucher somewhere on the net

My glasses look exactly like the pair of french connection ones in Asda for £80 + lenses
