I now always run Vpower in my Corsa.

I can tell the difference but my mate with his CL500 said he can't.

Think it will make more difference in a boosted car.

in my experienc it only makes a difference in n/a cars which are very finely tuned with aftermarket management mapped to suit the higher ron rating or turbocharged cars.

I used to use Tesco 99 in my yellow Corsa as it was mapped on 97RON and ran like shit on 95, never bothered using anything more than normal unleaded in any car since.

My focus only likes optimax!! Spoilt brat!
Ive run the corsa on the BP 102 RON petrol that was amazing made such a difference, but at £2.00 whatever a litre ive only done it a few times!!!
My local shell is 99.9p for optimax, and 95.9 for normal
