Staged?
I have to admit, something seems odd to me too, but staged?
I hope they find her, but I can't see it now

I wonder about the mental health of most people tbh rather than the authenticity of a wee girl being kidnapped
Folk playing the blame game as well sound heartless, wait until she's found then slaughter whoever you want.

I think the media need information and the police are going on false leads, just so there is some news.

People saying its staged, so you not also find how its odd how big this story has got? Loads of people go missing every year, this one has had sooo much media attention though I dont understand it.

Yeah something isnt right about it, why would you leave your kids on there own, thats just madness. With the reward being so big, makes me wonder if its all staged.

No, people do in England, but there is nothing significant about it over all the other people who go missing.

Is your mate four years old? and i would certainly call Portugal as strange a place as any for a wee girl

ive been holidaying in portugal almost all my life, like anywhere you take your children on holiday. For a wee girl its terrifying being without your parents anywhere.I think the family have connections in the media or police thats the only reason for the coverage i can think of.

Apologies if this sounds heartless, but this is why the whole thing sounds off to me:
The girl is left alone by two supposedly intelligent and respectable people when she is taken - wouldn't they know better?
Why did the kidnapper not take the other children?
Reports of a mystery vehicle in the area with British plates.
Parents don't speak for ages, then when they do (today) they say something along the lines of being sure the girl is "safe and being looked after". - Who could possibly think this when their child has been kidnapped?
Then the first house turned over belongs to a UK ex-pat a few hundred yards away.
There's just too much which seems suspicious.

people going missing is a bit different to a child being taken whilst sleeping

I see nothing wrong or weird whatsoever with the amount of coverage it's getting, they released her picture it plucked peoples heart strings and everyone hopes she gets found safe. I don't know why there are so many people taking the cynical slant tbh

Yeah, because the Holly and Jessica thing wasn't this big, or the Jamie Bulger one.

If everyone who went missing got the same amount of coverage it would drive us mad. The only thing in the news at the moment is this and them still going on about the election however many weeks ago that was now. They are selling papers and attracting people to watch the news. If there was something more important to talk about it wouldnt get half as much attention.

Well i dont know about anyone else, but my parents have left me and my sister in a hotel room and gone for a meal 200 yards away, It was a stupid mistake i agree but they do not deserve to loose a child over it.
Why did the kidnapper not take the other children?
Others were to young, maybe couldnt walk easily and would be to much bother.Or she was nearest the window

Pria da Luz is almost fully british run now, your will find more londoners than portugese now.

Would you not try remain positive than accept defete?

Just to report on somthing, like the spotting of a guy with a wee girl that turn out 2 be a false alarm
