In all honestly, if I had a kid etc, I'd have to have a 5 door with a big boot. When you go to the mother in laws etc, you have to take shit loads of toys, strollers/walkers, you need space.

I say keep the B for your fun and get something extremely practical.

i arnt sure what your after stavs but iv driven both, interior in astra is far superior mind...

What about an old shape Vectra SRI or something? Loads of room, nice to drive, look pretty decent too. 2.2 one would be spot on.
