she follows me for a while then stops me on a straight road (busy, so im lookin like a tool) and says ur front 2 windows are a bit dark im guna call another officer to test them as im not from here!!

I wonder how many muggings, burglaries, assaults, vandelism, theft, drug dealing and car crime there was whilst they were following up this major offence

if you have had the front done over 2 and a half years they would have probably been legal around that time its just more recently that the law has changed front 2 windows can only be done 30%

thats fine then... but if you want them to have the same treatment as you, you need to expect that the other drivers will get away with there tints for 2 and a half years also

you know its ilegal, we know it is, the police know it is, so you really dont have a leg to stand on. just take them off, use some thinners to remove the glue if you are having trouble with it.

i see ur point m8, u drive a modifed car thats why u got pulled. What really pisses me off is when u see cars that have front windows tinted but because they are family cars and not driven by a young driver they never get pulled @ all. There are tons of car round my end with front window tints

Steve can I just say you come across as an arse. You critisize everything everyone does. I presume every car youve had has been fully 100% legal? I presume you have never exceeded the speed limit?

Your a retard and your answers dont help no body.

I can't see how the standard Corsa windows are tinted 70%. Its probably 30%, and they let 70% of light through.

Anyway, quit yer whinging.

Tinted windows are so 1990's - get that shit out of there, drive with standard tinted glass - which looks loads better - and it completely legal.

2 year old tints were probably legal when you put them on, but you simply ignored the new law stating new regulations. not the polices fault you thought you were above the law
