i seem to remember the one that i saw on a civic had a perspex cover infront of the filter for some reason

i dont know, i think it was to stop it getting dirty lol but would have totally screwed up air flow

True. But any filter would suck shitty fumes in through the front of our cars, especialy forced inductions. what about standard cold air feeds? they go directly to the front of the cars so in reality it does the same thing as this. A good idea imo but i agree with it being shit for normal road use, take it on the strip and track days and it would do its justice

Surely its just the same as having a few air intakes leading into your air box.

The longer the piping is to you inlet, id imagine it to be worse.

Cant see this being too much good.
