£100 a month with my grandparents (close to work). I pay for my phone, broadband, and we all chip in if we get a takeaway. Me and my gf are pretty much self contained in my room anyway, get our own shopping etc etc

We have balance

If she is on her own you will be doubling virtually everything, food, electric etc...

You try and living somewhere else for £60 per week where you get a room, tv,sky, food, water, leccy ,washing done, food made and bought ete etc

Be grateful she wants you back in the house

i think thats quite alot to live with parents but you live with your parent so its understandable, mine was £120 a month changed to £160 but i am still ok with it moaned when it went up but who wouldnt i live with my dad.
still very cheap imo compared to renting out on your own.

not so long ago i had a 3 week holiday my dad still wanted 3 weeks worth of rent i went mad agreed on i payed for internet

Haggling seems quite excessive, especially as you are her child.

I pay could buy my Corsa again every month but instead I pay bills. Give her what she wants. You won't beat living at home for absolute value in every regard.

£150 a month, but when I decide to move out and need to start saving I'm moving in with Rachel as she pays nothing and her mum and dad don't mind

£150 a month when you want to save to move out is actually dead money.

When I lived at home I didnt pay, They didnt need money from me although they encouraged me to save money - which I did & managed to land on my feet sooner!!

If I was to return to the rents house id expect to have to pay!!
