It all happened fast and I didn't get the plate, from what I can remember though it's similar to what I posted up.. I went back today in daylight and took some photos and I'm going to the police station in a sec.. I know there's not much they can do but still.

This is the corner he came flying round, you can see that the skid marks start before the white line and go over it and keep going all the way to where he hit my car. The lane he came from is wide enough for one car.. I'm so lucky he hit me where he did!

Seems like he might struggle to argue out of that, if he ever comes forward

thats really bad, it reminds me of what a work collegue told me about her boyfriends skyline, when a coach went round a corner too fast only took off the mirror thank god, such a nice car. but the coach driver didnt stop she said they had to follow it and get him to stop becuase he just carried on.

Been to the bodyshop and they want £400 for it all. I haven't got anything near £400..

I would like to split/sell and get something as a runaround for the time being, I'm spending too much on my car! What are your opinions?

You can do that for less than £400.

Second hand Satin Red wing will cost you about £50 in perfect condition (just means ringing round lots of scrappies)

Bumper will cost you a bit if you get another GSi straight away, but you could get a post 97 for about £10 and have it painted.

Won't be perfect, but it's better than splitting it and regretting it, and you can make it perfect when you have the money.

Lots of people saying that to me.. I don't know what to do. I don't want to be spending all the money on it though..

I guess I'm just on a bit of a downer at the moment.. I work all day sat and sun over the weekends for shite pay. I saved for ages then I got stitched up £720 for a laptop on eBay, and ended up having to buy ANOTHER one from a shop so I'm in £900 debt, my MOT cost me £387 last month, tax is due this month, more and more stupid little things, and now this.
