You need a vacum takeoff for the brakes and fuel regulator.

the piece of metal between the induction kit hose and the mantzel??? is that the throttle body? coz the c16 has a mas sensor would i have to stick this in in the line somewhere?

Yep, thats the TB. You'd just have to have you Airt filter - Sensor - TB

Anyone got any RR graphs before and after an inlet has been put on. Would be intesting too see where the gains and losses are throughout therev range:look

Losses - Bottom end

Gains - Top end, from 4-5K and on to the limiter.

surely a good remap would bring the bottom end back up to scratch?
if i was to get a mantzel and a full zorst system including manifold and a remap how much bhp would u say id get?have?

i dont see the point in getting cams etc

lotus built these engines with nearly 150 bhp and vauxhall restricted them to 105ish so the engines should b made to take abit more power than standard from vauxhall

My spec is: -

Mantzel
Headwork
Courtenay torque cams - Very mild
4-2-1 manifold
De-cat

Thats 132BHP without a re-map. A map should take it up to 140 and a bit. Maybe.

Mating face has been ground flat and the whole box has been cadmium plated to stop it rusting.





Tomorrow i'll have it sprayed in green etch primer.

Yeah. a guy on migweb was making one with tb trumpets welded onto the inlet and a box over them with the original tb at the front end.

Was it using the standard inlet manifold? Dont suppose you have a link or anything do you? Just curious thats all.
